We were invited to submit a tender for the full visual identity of Corvinus University of Budapest. We worked on the concept in a collaboration with the team of meet|, our service designer partner. Here you can see how we have changed the visual identity from 2018 to 2020.
Our goal in the pitch was to achieve a more professional and traditional feeling but keep it warm, youthful and innovative at the same time. Compared to the original identity we designed in 2018, which served as the basis for the new one, we intensified the visual contrast between tradition and progression this time. The most innovative and advantageous feature of the identity, inspired by the style of antique codex covers, is the dynamical usage of the logo and the ornament. Used on different online and offline creatives they do not only present a logo but rather create a visual frame: the unique frame of Corvinus brand.
